MEET MOM

Jes (CGC) was born at Solace Kennels in Washington state from the Zeke/Hanna litter in late 2009. She is co-owned with Lisa Barber of New Zion. Here's a video of baby Jes at 5 weeks with her litter mates (By the way- her brother from that litter is Lisa's "Bear" and he is standing at stud at New Zion Kennels). Jes is a gorgeous warm brown smooth sable, with black and cream highlights. She has such expressive eyes (which she uses shamelessly to get petted) and a gentle expression. She is a big girl, almost 90 lbs, and extremely athletic.

Jes loves her people and will do anything to please. This sweet dog loves her obedience work and carrying the pack on trail hikes. She does great off-leash, is very responsive and is always eager to receive praise. She has a selective prey drive... rabbits and geckos with permission, but gets along well with cats or small dogs. She can be initially aloof with strangers, but will always "make friends" when told to. Once Jes knows you, you'll become a "best-friend" and she will love to lay her head in your lap and  hug. Jes is intelligent and very receptive to her owner's mood. This is the dog who never takes her eye off of her owner, you never have to wonder where she is because she is always RIGHT THERE! She is very easy to train,  intelligent, a quick learner and loves being goofy with her favorite people. JES is a gentle soul, but is a good watchdog and protector of her family.
